[49]. Jesus says: "Blessed are the solitary and the elect, for you will find the Kingdom! Because you have issued from it, you will return to it again."

耶穌說:「獨自一個人而被挑選的人有福了,因為你們會找到天國。因為你們從那裡來,也將要再回到那裡去。」

淺談 數論 Samkhya

為何會突然談起 數論﹝Samkhya﹞?原因在解讀 多馬福音四十九篇一文時,再次遇上 孤獨﹝Solitary﹞一字。此 孤獨﹝Solitary﹞是否指 數論﹝Samkhya﹞中的 Kaivalya?而 數論學說中所描述的 無知﹝ignorant﹞與 解放﹝Mok a﹞和 Gnostics 內對知識﹝gnosis﹞的追求以及目的,又是否有著雷同之處?希望在了解 數論後,能有所啟發。

數論﹝Samkhya﹞屬古印度哲學中,最重要的流派之一。亦是佛教所指的『迦毗羅論﹝因創自 迦毗羅仙人 Sage Kapila﹞』或『雨眾外道』,『雨際外道』。其核心思想指宇宙由 補盧沙 Purua﹝最高精神﹞與 原質 Prakriti﹝原初物質﹞所組成。

[48]. Jesus says: "If two people are with each other in peace in the same house, they will say to the mountain: 'Move!' and it will move."

華倫廷 Valentinus 簡介

談到 Gnostic,不得不提的當然就是 Gnostic中的一個重要人物 ─『華倫廷』﹝Valentinus 或 Valentinius﹞﹝c.100 - c.160﹞。

早期

華倫廷生於100年,其出生地是當時位於上埃及的『裴亞波尼斯』﹝Phrebonis﹞。年少時的華倫廷,則在充滿基督教色彩的『亞歷山大港』﹝Alexandria﹞接受教育,並一直深受其啟蒙老師『塞烏達斯』﹝Theudas﹞的影響。

[46]. Jesus says: "From Adam to John the Baptist, among those who have been born of women, there is none greater than John the Baptist! But for fear that the eyes <of such a one> should be lost I have said: He who among you shall be the small<est> shall know the Kingdom and be higher than John!"

耶穌說:「從亞當到施洗約翰,在婦人所生的當中,沒有人比施洗約翰更偉大,使人眼睛不轉移。但我曾說過,在你們當中誰人如同小孩,便會認識天國,並變得比約翰更偉大。」

 [45]. Jesus says: "Grapes are not gathered from thistles, and figs are not gathered from thorns: they do not give fruit! [. . . a] good man brings out of his barn what is good, but a wicked man brings out of his wicked barn—which is in his heart—evil <things>, and from them he sows evil, because <they are> evil <things that> he brings out of the abundance of his heart."
耶穌說:「葡萄不能從有刺的樹上收割出來,無花果不能從薊叢中摘取出來,因為這些都不能結果實。良善的人從積善裡帶來良善,惡人從內心積惡裡帶來邪惡,並說出邪惡的話來,因為從內心深處,這人會帶出邪惡的事物來。」

[44]. Jesus says: "He who has blasphemed the Father will be forgiven, and he who has blasphemed the Son will be forgiven: but he who has blasphemed the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven either on earth or in heaven."

耶穌說:「誰若褻瀆父親,都會得到寬恕。誰若褻瀆兒子,都會得到寬恕。但誰若褻瀆聖靈,無論在地上或天上,都得不到寬恕。」
